Jenna Gibson Windsurfing

Meet the client.

Jenna Gibson is the Women’s World Speed Windsurfing Champion and IFCA World Slalom Champion, making her the fastest female windsurfer on the planet.

After becoming the Women’s World Speed Record holder, Jenna needed a dedicated website that reflected her achievements and growing international profile.

She wanted a professional platform where sponsors, event organisers, media and fans could learn more about her career, follow her latest competitions and celebrate her success on the world stage.

Having known Jenna through the windsurfing community, it was a pleasure to help create the first dedicated website for a World Champion.

The project.



Our Approach

Initially, we spent time with Jenna planning exactly what she wanted before starting the build.

She had a clear vision and provided a detailed brief covering the design, colours, layout and functionality she was looking for. Having that level of detail from the outset made the whole project much smoother.

Two of the key requirements were to put her Instagram feed and upcoming competitions front and centre. We integrated her Instagram feed directly into the website, allowing Jenna to publish posts and reels from competitions straight to her website as they happen. Alongside this, we developed a bespoke WordPress plugin that displays live competition countdowns and an event ticker, keeping visitors up to date with her racing calendar.

We were also fortunate to have access to an amazing collection of professional photography and video from Jenna’s racing career. These became a key part of the design, showcasing her achievements and giving the website a strong visual identity.



The result

Jenna now has a professional website that reflects her achievements as the Women’s World Speed Windsurfing Champion and World Slalom Champion.

Sponsors, event organisers, media and fans have a single place to follow her career, keep up with the latest competitions and learn more about the person behind the results.

We continue to support the website with regular updates, maintenance and new features as Jenna’s racing career continues to evolve.
