Christie Spencer Interiors is a luxury interior design studio based in Keston Kent, known for creating elegant, timeless spaces for residential clients.
As the business grew, the team needed a website that could better showcase their work, reflect their high-end service offering, and attract more clients in their local area.
Although Christie Spencer Interiors had a strong reputation and an active presence on social media, their existing website wasn’t aligned with the quality of their work.
It lacked the structure, clarity, and visual impact needed to support their growth, and it wasn’t helping them get found in search by potential clients in Kent and surrounding areas.
The project.
Design & Development
We designed and developed a custom WordPress website that feels clean, sophisticated, and intuitive to use, a digital experience that mirrors the studio’s design ethos.
The site was carefully structured to highlight key services, showcase projects with large-format photography, and encourage enquiries through clear calls to action.
Local SEO was a key focus throughout. We optimised the site’s content, metadata, and structure to improve visibility in search results for relevant interior design services across Kent, ensuring Christie Spencer Interiors could connect with potential clients in their target areas.
Integration
The site is powered by WordPress and utilizes several different plugins to achieve the results they wanted. An API connection to their Instagram account automatically displays their latest posts on the site.
Server side Google reCAPTCHA was integrated to stop spam emails. SPF & DKIM records were setup to ensure website contact form emails didn’t end up in users spam folders.
Search Engine Optimisation
We search engine optimised each portfolio page for the location of the project, with search terms such as “Interior Designers Keston Park”
The portfolio images were optimised to appear top in Google Image search results for terms such as “Interior Designer Banstead”
A newly created Google Business Listing appears in local search results and on Google Maps.
They had wanted to use Google Ads to drive paid traffic to the site. However, because the site was performing so well in natural search rankings, they decided that it wasn’t necessary.
Result
The new website positions Christie Spencer Interiors as a premium, trusted design studio and supports their goals of attracting more local, high-value clients.
With improved search visibility and a far more engaging online presence, the site has become a powerful tool in their business development strategy.
